veterinary medicine available in conjunction with the highest

hospital with a dedication to giving your pet excellent care whether
they are sick or healthy.
The
Wander Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Barry M. Wander, M.S.,
D.V.M. His lifelong dream was to be a veterinarian. To attain
this goal, he began his education at the University of Florida,
receiving a B.S. in Agricultural Science and Master of Science
in Animal Nutrition. He graduated cum laude receiving his D.V.M.
Degree from the University National Pedro H. Urena, Santo Domingo
in 1985. In addition, Dr. Wander received postdoctoral training
at the prestigious Animal Medical Center (A.M.C.) in New York
City; the world's largest private veterinary diagnostic referral center.
He
has been honored in Who's Who of Veterinary Medicine and Science
and is a distinguished member of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national
educational leadership honor society; the American Veterinarian
Medical Association (A.V.M.A.) and the South Florida Veterinary
Medical Association.
Dr.
Wander has served as Veterinary Educational Director for the Dade
County Public School Veterinary Assistance program at the English
Center from 1998-2000.
He
is currently a Board Member on the advisory committee for the
Veterinary Technician Degree program at Miami Dade Community College.
Dr.
Wander is a licensed and accredited veterinarian by the United
States Department of Agriculture (USDA) allowing him to issue
an International and/or Interstate health certificate.
